Hi love, I’m Brittany—the hands behind Fleurtations, and a strong believer that life is just better with fresh flowers, pearls, and Prosecco.
I’ve always loved the Idea of La vie En Rose. to Quote my favourite movie "its the french way of saying, i'm looking at the world through rose colored glasses" and it is a feeling that im always trying to capture in life. Fleurtations is my attempt to "bottle" that feeling into special everyday pieces that make life a little more beautiful.
My love affair with jewelry began long ago but truly came into focus while my husband was in New York City for a 6 month startup accelerator. With evenings and weekends all to myself, I threw my all into designing, creating, and building something of my own. I jokingly told him it was my little love affair with jewelry keeping me distracted from missing him—but the truth is, it had always been a dream to have my own creative business making something that brings light into peoples lives.
Of course dreams don't always follow a straight path...
Life has taken me in many directions— most recently, becoming a mom.
I’ve learned to appreciate the unexpected turns, savor the quiet moments, and treasure the things that make life feel a little more magical and a little more romantic, no matter how small.
I think Jewelry has has the power to inspire, enchant, and even transform how walk through the world.
Each piece is handmade by me in my home studio, with a wish that the person it finds will feel love, light and maybe see a little glimpse of la vie en rose in the mirror.
When I’m not creating, you’ll probably find me playing with my son, baking something sweet, planting something beautiful, dancing barefoot in my kitchen to Artie Shaw, planning my next excuse to wear a vintage dress, or imagining a dreamy travel destination.
